The Rules and Regulations of the “zaPLeCZe” project
§ 1 General Provisions
1. The “zaPLeCZe” project’s (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”) Organizer is Fundacja Centrum Solidarności/Solidarity Centre Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), having its seat in Gdańsk (80-855), Poland ul. Wały Piastowskie 24, entered into the entrepreneurs’ register of the National Court Register conducted by the Gdańsk-Północ District Court in Gdansk, KRS No. 0000082079, Tax ID (NIP) 583-26-72-089, Statistical ID (Regon) 19204007.
2. The Project shall consist of two stages – Theatre Workshops (hereinafter referred to as the “Workshops”) and the Travelling Festival (hereinafter referred to as the “Festival”).
3. The workshops shall take place from 6th to 14th of September 2010, and the Festival shall take place from 15th to 21st of September 2010.
4. The Project shall be coordinated and managed within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
§ 2 Participation in the Project – terms and principles
1. A person who:
- is in the age between 18 and 26;
- can speak English language on communicative level;
- has been acquainted with and unconditionally accepts the whole of these Rules and Regulations;
- has passed the recruitment process successfully;
(hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”) shall be allowed to participate in the Project.
2. Supply or delivery of filled and signed Application Form (Annex No. 1 to these Rules and Regulations) shall be condition of participating in the recruitment process. The form concerned shall be available in the www.fcs.org.pl. website (in the “zaPLeCZe” Project’s sub-website). The applications must be delivered by 10.08.2010 (date of the application delivery to the Organizer’s seat).
3. The Project Participants shall be selected on the basis of the delivered applications. The selection shall be conducted by the Project instructors and coordinators.
4. 30 persons (15 citizens of the Republic of Poland and 15 persons from the Czech Republic) shall participate in the Project.
5. The final list of the Project participants shall be announced by the Organizer by 16.08.2010 in the Organizer’s website – www.fcs.org.pl (the “zaPLeCZe” Project’s sub-website).
6. Resignation from taking part in the Project. The Participant who has confirmed his/her participation shall be allowed to quit from taking part in the Project by 30.08.2010. In case of resignation after that date the Participant shall be bound to pay the Project administration costs (i.e. PLN 200,00 to be paid to the Organizer’s bank account).
7. Participation in the Project shall be free of charge.
8. During the Workshop and the Festival the Participants shall be provided with accommodation and food by the Organizer.
9. Travel costs (2nd-class train tickets as agreed with the Organizer before) from the residence place (in the Republic of Poland) to Gdańsk and back as from Prague or Ostrava to Gdańsk and back (2nd-class train tickets as agreed with the Organizer before) shall be reimbursed by the Organizer.
The travel costs shall be accounted on the basis of original tickets provided to the Organizer.
10. The Participant shall be bound to cover insurance costs for the duration of travel and of the Project.
§ 3 The principles and the course of the Project
1. The Project is aimed to promote knowledge about the „Solidarity” („Solidarność”) movement and a value of solidarity in the trans-national dimension. The Project shall be included in celebrating the anniversary of initiating the “Solidarity” movement.
2. The Project shall be divided into two stages:
I stage: Theatre Workshops including, among other things, improvisation, acting, dancing and stage design. During the Workshops the Participants, under the instructors’ guidance, shall prepare two workshop-studies referring to history of the “Solidarity” and/or taking-up issue of the solidarity value.
II stage: The Travelling Festival. The Participants shall take part in the Travelling Festival where they shall perform the workshop studies made thereby. The Travelling Festival shall visit up to maximum 5 places in the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
3. The Organizer shall provide the Participants with any and all materials necessary to make the studies and to perform them during the Festival.
§ 4 License
1. The Organizer shall be the owner of entirety of both personal and proprietary copyrights (including related rights) to the theatre studies concerned, including visual and artistic setting, video records and photo documentation (hereinafter referred to as the “Project Effects”), upon no remuneration for the Participants.
2. The Organizer shall have the exclusive license to use the Project Effects, including sub-licensing right, with no temporal and territorial limitations, in the following exploitation fields:
- fixing and reproduction of the Project Effect in press, in printing, in electronic carriers, with polygraphs, photographic, digital, multimedia, audio and video techniques, including entering into computer memory;
- publishing in outdoor advertisement carriers;
- dissemination by public performance, exhibition, screening, presentation, broadcast and rebroadcast in any carriers, including advertisement carriers, VHS, VCD and DVD, as well as using any multimedia techniques;
- dissemination in computer webs, including Internet, so as individual person may have access to the Project Effects in time and place decided thereby.
3. The Project Effects may be disseminated:
- for the purposes of computer processing;
- for the purpose of promoting the Organizer in relation to the Project, especially in form of T-shirts, posters, exhibitions, advertising folders, brochures, commercials, irrespective of their format, as well as in other information or advertising media;
- upon archiving in electronic or printing form (also as the part of collective work), may be made available (in that form) in computer networks and Internet.
§ 5 Final provisions
1. The Project Organizer shall not be liable for any delays caused by an entity delivering mail or email messages that the Participants shall use.
2. The Organizer shall not be liable for incorrect and/or incomplete information on the Project, provided by third parties or other Participants.
3. The Organizer hereby reserves the right to change terms of scheduled activities.
4. The Organizer shall not be liable for incorrect data submitted by a Project Participant.
5. Any person shall be entitled to notify the Organizer on breach of these Rules and Regulations.
6. The Organizer shall be entitled for binding interpretation of these Rules and Regulations.
7. These Rules and Regulations have been made in Polish and in English.
8. Any disputes regarding application of these Rules and Regulations shall be settled by the court of law of the Organizer’s jurisdiction.
9. Terms and conditions of these Rules and Regulations shall enter into force upon publication thereof in the Organizer’s webpage www.fcs.org.pl (in the “zaPLeCZe” Project’s sub-webpage).
