Summer Academy
The Summer Academy aims to promote various methods of active and cross-curriculum teaching of modern Polish history. Participation in the event should inspire teachers to search for new methods and tools for teaching history which would interest students, develop their curiosity and encourage them to deepen their knowledge.
The participants of the Summer Academy have classes on:
- History,
- Literature,
- Film,
- The history of art,
- Sociology,
- Ethics,
- Methodology.
Lectures are presented in thematic groups:
- Polish Months,
- The totalitarian state,
- Everyday life,
- The role of the Church,
- Emigration,
- Anti-communist resistance,
- Independent culture.
TARGET GROUPS:
Teachers and graduates of humanities and pedagogy departments.
EXECUTION:
The event takes place once a year in May-October.
